Media Provenance comes to Tokyo on 13th October

IPTC is co-organizing the second Media Provenance Summit in two months, this time in Tokyo with the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. The Bergen event (September 22) drew provenance and authenticity experts from around the world. Two summits in three weeks suggests the infrastructure is moving from pilot to deployment phase, particularly in newsrooms and broadcast environments where cryptographic signing is becoming table stakes for audience trust.
