Metadata test file for evaluating application read capabilities
DAM Cowboy · W31 · July 2026
Peter Krogh offers a test file packed with metadata across multiple fields to evaluate how well an application reads embedded data. It's a practical diagnostic: import the file, see what shows up, map the gaps. The exercise exposes which metadata fields your tools actually respect and which ones get ignored on ingest. Every DAM migration should start with a version of this test.
